INDUSTRIAL AND ACADEMIC SUPERVISOR

Provide structured weekly supervision and mentorship to students working on capstone projects

Guide students across core IT domains including programming, cloud computing, and enterprise systems

Develop students’ professional capabilities such as communication, presentation, and workplace readiness

Translate real-world industry project briefs into academic frameworks (learning outcomes, milestones, reports)

Contribute to the design and refinement of “Smart Projects” sourced from industry experts

Assist in developing educational content including curriculum design, assessment models, and supervision frameworks

Integrate AI tools into supervision processes and guide students on ethical and effective AI usage

Collaborate with leadership to produce academic research in capstone and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL)

Mentor junior supervisors as the program expands

PhD (preferred) or equivalent academic and industry experience

Strong background in IT domains such as programming, cloud computing, and enterprise systems

Knowledge of business analysis, system evaluation, and interdisciplinary project environments

Proven experience supervising or mentoring undergraduate or postgraduate students

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to manage remote work and maintain structured weekly engagements

Versatility across both technical and non-technical domains

Strong interest in innovation in education and WIL models

Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and software development practices

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Familiarity with enterprise systems, ERP solutions, and system architecture design

Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies

Ability to supervise and evaluate academic research, technical documentation, and capstone reports

Knowledge of data analysis, system modeling, and solution design frameworks

Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automation platforms) into teaching, mentoring, or workflows

Strong presentation and storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or academic program structuring

Exposure to Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) models or industry-academic collaboration frameworks

Ability to mentor diverse, international student cohorts in a remote environment

Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to bridge theoretical concepts and real-world applications
