Business Development manager (Cold calling, Lead generation and sales)

Position Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to support the sales growth. You’ll be responsible for outbound prospecting, nurturing leads, and setting qualified appointments for our sales team. Work Schedule: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Dubai Time Target Markets: North America UK

Key Responsibilities

Cold Calling & Outbound Prospecting

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to international prospects daily.

  • Confidently engage decision-makers and generate interest in our services.

  • Qualify prospects based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings for the sales team.

  • Handle first-touch objections professionally and effectively.

  • Maintain consistent activity levels to achieve appointment-setting targets.

Lead Research & List Building

  • Build and manage prospect lists using Apollo or similar contact databases.

  • Research companies and identify ideal customer profiles (ICP).

  • Verify contact information and maintain high-quality prospect data.

  • Ensure data accuracy through quality control and list hygiene practices.

Multi-Channel Outreach

  • Execute outbound campaigns via:

  • Cold Calling (Mandatory)

  • Email Outreach

  • LinkedIn Prospecting and Engagement (Preferred)

  • Follow up with prospects through multiple touchpoints.

  • Personalize outreach messages to improve engagement and response rates.

CRM & Outreach Operations

  • Manage prospecting workflows and outreach sequences.

  • Track activities and update lead status accurately.

  • Monitor campaign performance and maintain sequence quality.

  • Handle CSV imports, exports, and data quality checks.

Performance Metrics

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Number of outbound calls completed.

  • Number of qualified conversations generated.

  • Number of qualified appointments booked.

  • Outreach activity consistency.

  • Lead data quality and CRM accuracy.

  • Meeting attendance rates from booked appointments.

Must Have Skills

Must-Have

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in cold calling and appointment setting.

  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation and outbound prospecting.

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Confident and professional phone presence.

  • Experience qualifying prospects and booking meetings.

  • Experience working with North American and/or UK markets.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Core Skills

  • Cold outreach execution via phone (mandatory).

  • Email outreach and prospect engagement.

  • Research and list building using Apollo or similar databases.

  • Objection handling during initial prospect conversations.

  • Personalization of outreach messages and sequence quality control.

  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet activity targets.

  • Understanding that success is measured by qualified appointments booked, not sales closed.

Enrichment & Personalization Tools

  • Clay

  • Persana

  • Ocean.io

  • Or similar enrichment tools

Data Management

  • Basic spreadsheet proficiency (Google Sheets / Excel)

  • CSV handling and data quality control

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working for a marketing agency, lead generation agency, or sales outsourcing company.

  • Experience prospecting for digital marketing, SaaS, technology, or B2B service companies.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or GoHighLevel.

  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach campaigns.

  • Understanding of sales funnels and outbound lead generation best practices.
