Position Overview
Our Australian education client is seeking a confident and proactive Cold Caller / Parent Engagement Specialist to support student enrollment activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting parents from a provided database, introducing educational programs, and encouraging them to book a free student assessment. Work Schedule 20 Hours per Week Monday to Friday 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Melbourne Time)
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to parents from client-provided Excel databases.
Introduce educational programs and services.
Explain the benefits of the free student assessment.
Encourage and schedule assessment bookings for eligible students.
Follow call scripts while maintaining a natural and conversational approach.
Record call outcomes and update databases accurately.
Follow up with interested parents when required.
Maintain a professional and friendly communication style.
Assist with basic Canva-related tasks for marketing and communication materials when required.
Requirements
Essential
Previous experience in Cold Calling, Telemarketing, Appointment Setting, or Lead Generation.
Strong verbal English communication skills.
Comfortable speaking with parents and handling objections professionally.
Ability to build rapport and maintain positive conversations over the phone.
Experience working with Excel or Google Sheets.
Self-motivated and target-driven.
Reliable internet connection and professional work setup.
Must Have Skills
Cold calling
Experience working with Excel or Google Sheets.
Telemarketing
Preferred Skills
Experience in the Education, Tutoring, or Training industry.
Familiarity with Australian customers and communication style.
Basic Canva experience for creating or editing simple marketing materials.

- Stable internet connection (Minimum 20 MBPS) with backup connection
- Laptop/PC with updated OS (Core i5 or higher) + Backup device
- Headset with clear microphone
