B2B Sales & Proposal Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly versatile B2B Sales & Proposal Specialist to drive our business growth. In this role, you will not just be dialing numbers or sending generic templates; you will own the entire top-of-funnel narrative. You will be responsible for identifying target accounts, crafting compelling marketing collateral (brochures and one-pagers), executing strategic cold outreach, and writing the final proposals that win the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Prospecting 

  • Conduct deep-dive research to identify target companies that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). 

  • Map out organizational structures to identify key decision-makers and stakeholders. 

  • Maintain and organize a clean pipeline of qualified leads within our CRM. 

2. Strategic Outreach & Lead Generation 

  • Write, launch, and manage highly personalized cold email campaigns. 

  • Conduct direct outreach via LinkedIn and email to initiate conversations with corporate executives. 

  • A/B test subject lines, email copy, and outreach cadences to maximize open and reply rates. 

3. Content & Collateral Creation 

  • Write and design compelling B2B sales collateral, including corporate brochures, pitch decks, and one-pagers. 

  • Translate complex service offerings into clear, benefit-driven copy that resonates with corporate buyers. 

4. Proposal & Pitch Writing 

  • Take the lead on drafting, formatting, and refining customized business proposals and RFP responses. 

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure all technical and pricing details are accurately represented in the final pitch. 

Must Have Skills

  • Experience: 4-6+ years in B2B sales, business development, or a hybrid sales/marketing role. 

  • Exceptional Copywriting: Flawless written communication skills. You must be able to write persuasive cold emails, professional brochures, and highly structured business proposals. (Be prepared to submit a writing portfolio or proposal sample). 

  • Research Acumen: Ability to analyze a company’s financial or operational pain points and tailor a pitch exactly to their needs. 

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), email sequencing tools, and basic design/formatting software (e.g., Canva, InDesign, or advanced MS Word/PowerPoint). 

  • Self-Starter: High level of autonomy with the ability to manage your own pipeline from initial research to the final proposal submission. 

  • Bonus / Preferred Experience: Prior experience working in or selling B2B services within the corporate training, education consultancy, or Learning & Development (L&D) sectors is a significant advantage. Familiarity with how corporations budget for employee upskilling and professional development will make you a standout candidate.
